ABOUT US
Launched in late 2025, DisorderDefined actually started about five years earlier… but like many ADHD projects, it took a little longer than planned (classic).
At 43, I was suddenly diagnosed with ADHD — which was shocking, because I genuinely thought everyone else was just as chaotic as me. Spoiler: they were not.
My 30s were basically a rollercoaster nobody asked for: anxiety, stress, depression, weight gain, weight loss, snapping at innocent bystanders, zero energy… you name it, I collected it like Pokémon. I tried CBT, counselling, and enough medication combos to qualify as a part-time pharmacist. Helpful? Kind of. Life-changing? Nope.
Eventually I had a full mental health crisis. Thanks to my workplace health insurance (the real MVP), I ended up with a psychiatrist who suggested an ADHD screening — and that was the moment everything clicked into place.
Suddenly my entire life made sense. Why I lose everything except the things I actually want to lose. Why I hyper-focus like a caffeinated squirrel. Why I can save the day in a crisis but can’t remember where I put my keys 14 seconds ago.
From that clarity, DisorderDefined was born.
It’s a playful twist on “Attention Deficit Disorder,” because honestly… we might be disorderly, but we’re professionally disorderly. One minute multitasking like a superhero, the next lying on the sofa scrolling TikTok into the void. Talent, really.
I created this brand as a quiet wink to fellow ADHDers — a little sign that says, “I see you, my chaotic cousin.” And a reminder that who we are isn’t a flaw… it’s a feature.
Welcome to DisorderDefined. Embrace the chaos. We already know you didn’t come here in a straight line anyway. 😉
